About Us

R&N Photography is a project founded in 2021 by photojournalist Rodrigo Reyes Marín and graphic designer Nahomi Anno Moriyama. Since then, they have worked on the exhibition series Las Catrinas de Japón and Catrinas Around the World, with the aim of highlighting the beauty and significance of the Catrina in the context of the Day of the Dead. Their work has been exhibited in galleries in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as on virtual platforms of the Mexican Embassy in Japan. Through their work, they seek to connect cultures and promote appreciation of this iconic Mexican tradition.

Our Mission

To preserve and promote the tradition of La Catrina through photographic exhibitions of high cultural and artistic impact, fostering exchanges between artists of diverse nationalities and bringing this expression of the Day of the Dead to new audiences.

To be an international platform that celebrates and disseminates the cultural richness of the Day of the Dead through photographic art, connecting artists from different countries and promoting the Catrina tradition in Japan, Mexico, and around the world.
