Expo GLAMOUR 2024

In its fourth edition, the "Catrinas Around the World" exhibition, organized by R&N Photography, brings together the talents of more than 50 photographers from Mexico, the United States, France, Australia, Argentina, and Japan. This year, the exhibition focuses on the theme of Glamour, exploring the evolution of the concept of the Catrina, that iconic character who, from her origins as a satire on European influence, has evolved to become a glamorous symbol of national identity for Mexico.

Expo JAPÓN 2023

This year, our main theme is "Japan," in the context of the 135th anniversary of bilateral relations between Mexico and Japan, which is celebrated this November 30th. These ties have evolved and strengthened through working together in various areas, and they are now considered strategic partners.

Las Catrinas de Japón 2022

This exhibition is a collection of images of Catrina makeup, inspired by the elements that make up the offering (water, candles, food, papel picado, marigold flowers, and skulls) to celebrate the Day of the Dead. We also chose orange as our theme color this year. According to pre-Hispanic beliefs, orange is the only color the dead can see during their return to this world. It also symbolizes mourning in the Catholic religion. This syncretism between both worlds is present in every image you can see.
